St Paul’s – Parish update

St. Paul’s Parish Newsletter: -> 27th Sunday Ord Time (Cyc B) – 3rd Oct 2021

Wednesday Word: Wednesday Word is updated each week as a useful sheet for families to read through.

Weekday Mass Sheet, to help you if you are joining in with the daily masses streamed from St Alban’s and St Paul’s. However, due to the impact of Covid-19, the Weekday Mass Sheets have yet recommenced.

Season of Creation: The World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation, celebrated on 1 September, kicks off the Season of Creation, a time of sustained prayer and action which lasts a month and four days. During this season we are encouraged to pray and engage in community events in order to deepen our relationship with our God, our neighbour and the earth we share, being ever more attentive to the cry of the earth and the cry of the poor. For more information -> Season Creation

St Paul’s Church – Mass and prayers

Please note that hand sanitising when entering and leaving church is still required, as well as after you have received communion. Please also note that face coverings are still a mandatory requirement (as directed by the Diocese) unless you are in the exempt category.

When you arrive at church you will either need to check in using one of the displayed QR codes using your smartphone, or sign in yourself on the clipboard that is located in the porch.

Sunday Mass, 10am:

  • In-person Masses continue with reduced numbers in the congregation.
  • For Sunday 3rd October bookings will be required.
  • For Sunday 10th October onwards booking will not be required. To still maintain a proportion of social distance seating in church, we are retaining enhanced spacing on one side of the church (every other pew), whilst on the other side of church all social distancing measures will be relaxed (all pews will be available). Welcomers/Stewards will no longer escort you to your pew, and seats will be offered on a first come basis, therefore if you would prefer to sit in an area where distancing is still in place, we would encourage you to arrive earlier to avoid disappointment.
  • Church opens at 9:45am for Mass at 10am.
  • To join us the Mass virtually please go online to: Streamed Mass.

Wednesday Mass, 9:30am:
