St Paul’s parish update 

  • St. Paul’s Parish Newsletter -> 2nd Sun of Lent (Cyc B) – 28th Feb 2021
  • Sunday Mass: in-person Masses have recommenced. Please use our seat booking system -> Booking details
  • Wednesday Word for the coming week -> Wednesday Word . Wednesday Word is updated each week as a useful sheet for families to read through.
  • Weekday Mass Sheet, to help you if you are joining in with the daily masses streamed from St Alban’s and St Paul’s. However, due to current COVID-19 situation, the Weekday Mass Sheets have been suspended until further notice.
  • Lent and Holy Week 2021: following the parish Liturgy Group meeting on 20th Feb we will update this page with a Covid-19 aware schedule of planned activities -> Lent, Holy Week and Easter 2021.

Mass and prayers from St Paul’s Church

  • Wednesday Mass at 9:30am: broadcast using Facebook Live. This starts at 9:15am with prayers, followed by Mass at 9:30am -> Facebook Live or in the Facebook App search for “Mass at St Paul’s RC Church”.
  • Sunday Mass at 10am: As the level of Covid-19 infections has dropped St Paul’s church and St. Alban’s church plan to reopen for Sunday Masses. St Paul’s church plan to reopen for Mass on Sunday 21st February onwards
  • Sacrament of Reconciliation: anyone wishing to receive the sacrament will need to telephone either Fr Peter or Fr Paschal directly at St. Alban’s Parish Office on 01625 423 446 to book an appointment. The sacrament will be held outside, in a private place and physically distanced for safety reasons.
  • Mass intentions: Please contact the St Paul’s parish office with any queries or requests for Mass intentions. Have a lovely weekend and stay safe!

Parish newsletter: If you know of anyone who would like a copy of the newsletter via email please ask them to register their details on the parish database. This can be done by using the online registration form -> Parish database

St Paul’s parish update 

  • St. Paul’s Parish Newsletter -> 6th Sun Ord Time (Cyc B) – 14th Feb 2021
  • Ash Wednesday: Mass on 17th February will be live-streamed on Facebook.
  • Sunday Mass: from next Sunday, 21st February, in-person Masses recommence and we revert back to our previous seat booking system.

Please note that it is with great reluctance that St Paul’s church and St. Alban’s church are temporarily closed until 15th February. We urge you to come together to show your support to our priests who continue to support us in offering Mass for us from our own parish during this challenging time.
